4U 144-Port Sliding Fiber Patch Panel (ODF) for 19-Inch Racks

A 4U, 19-inch rack-mount fiber patch panel (ODF) for cable termination, splice protection and patching. A sliding drawer on side rails gives front access to the splice trays and the rear of the adapters, and its 144 adapter positions take 144 fibers with SC simplex adapters or up to 288 fibers with LC duplex adapters.

Overview

4U Sliding Fiber Patch Panel Features

Termination, splice protection and patching for up to 288 fibers, serviced from the front of the rack.

  • 4U, 19-inch rack mount

Centralized fiber distribution in a standard 4U, 19-inch rack space.

  • 144 adapter positions

Fit SC simplex adapters for 144 fibers or LC duplex adapters for up to 288 fibers.

  • Sliding drawer on side rails

The drawer slides out on side rails for front access to the splice trays and the rear of the adapters.

  • Internal splice trays

Splice trays protect fusion splices and organize fiber slack; the tray quantity follows your order.

  • Powder-coated steel

Cold-rolled steel with an electrostatic powder coating, in black, white or gray.

  • Single-mode or multimode

Matched single-mode or multimode components with UPC or APC interfaces.

Applications
  • FTTH access distribution
  • Telecom termination
  • ODF cross-connects
  • Rack fiber management

Installation

Installation and Packaging

  1. Check rack clearance and mounting positions, and secure the chassis before handling modules or fibers.
  2. Secure the incoming cables, allow service slack and follow the bend-radius requirements of the cables and fibers.
  3. Keep fibers clear of moving parts and avoid connector strain; clean end faces and cap unused ports.

FAQ

4U Sliding Fiber Patch Panel FAQ

How many fibers does the panel support?

It has 144 adapter positions: 144 fibers with SC simplex adapters, or up to 288 fibers with LC duplex adapters. Splice capacity depends on the splice-tray quantity in your order.

How do I reach the splices inside?

The drawer slides out on side rails, giving front access to the splice trays and the rear of the adapters.

Can it be used as an ODF in FTTH networks?

Yes. It is used for FTTH access distribution, telecom termination and ODF cross-connects.

Does it support single-mode and multimode fiber?

Both, with matched adapters, pigtails and patch cords. Keep UPC and APC components matched throughout and do not cross-mate them.

What should I specify when I order?

The adapter type, fiber type, UPC or APC, pigtails, splice-tray quantity and color. Labeling and packaging can be customized.

Are samples available?

Samples are available. Contact our sales team to discuss your requirements. You can test the samples yourself, inspect goods with us over a live video call, or audit our factory on site.

What are the lead time and minimum order?
